It may well be... but when you are trying to shove a whole buggy that is just slap full of items through the express lane... it is just plane rude to the people behind you.

Happened to me the last time I was there. I was pissed!! ... But that place really gets me worked up... so I'll just stop here..

on that note...........why is the only place you can buy cigs there is lane 11...........10 items or less........I dont smoke,but my wife does, and it sux if she wants a pack and I have someone(speedy911911911) behind me counting my items in my cart(for me) and i have 11 items..........lmao. And if I buy the cigs that makes 12 items.

hey maybe you ought to sell that calculator to the CT Forum trio, they can count their posts. So that way they can compete for the Len Award

The reason Wal-Mart does that is because everyone will get pissed off because register 19 would have to run all the way down to register 11 to get the cigarettes....People don't want to wait just a few minutes anymore!....It's the same way @ Baker's (even though the lines are shorter)....that is the only register you can get the cigarettes at....I hated when they put up the 10 or less sign...A lot of people want to bring their whole carts through so they can get their cigarettes instead of having to go through 2 lines, especially when we are busy....I think they should take the sign down and let anybody come through!...If you need a cigarette that bad, you can wait while everyone else gets done!
