OK speedy..I've got the list..We'll say it's from the very early 70's...I still may have missed a couple,,but here goes..This list doesn't include the clubs..Many have changed names and/or locations. And many don't exist..And there were several bars in the restaurants,,but I didn't include those either.. Check it out.

El Toro-2nd street.
Moonlight-2nd street
Mug&Jug-Main st.
West End-Main st.
George's tavern-Main and third
Gay 90's- Main
AC club-main
Funny Page-main
Stones grill-main
Third base cafe-main and 6th
Playhouse-Walnut and 6th
Scotts den-6th
Mac's Two way-Between main and Chestnut
Green Lantern-N.15th
Walnut st.Inn-walnut and 11th
Clock-S.6th
Melody Club-S.6th
Slim's Inn-in the valley
McCoy's-S.6th
Maggie's-S.6th
Downtown tavern-3rd
Bando's-2nd st.
21 club-walnut.st.
The Plaza-S 7th. st
The Hut-S.7th
Close Inn-C.R.1A

That's 26 bars...Amazing number for a town this size..Things are different now.

Maybe that is what is wrong with Crowtown, we don't have the watering holes we used too. Most did not go under, the people running them just got tired of it and closed them.

ok, ty I dont drink anymore, and back when I did I never went to bars to do it, so I wasn't sure. Hell I was a recovering alcoholic by the time I was legally allowed to drink. Once I was legal, I was trying to quit drinking, and since I was legal it wasn't any fun any more..........lol
