I got a little sarcastic... just a tad... said I like to text while riding my motorcycle without a helmet at a high rate of speed... what a rush. It was where everyone was ranitng on about wearing seatbelts, wearing hemets, texting and cell phone use while driving... etc... thought I'd throw my two cents in the pot! LOL

One of the posters over there didn't like my take on wearing helmets... personally I don't like them.
I don't like the blind spots they create and how they impair your hearing. I like to be in touch with my surroundings when I ride. But that's me... to each their own. Let the rider descide. I don't have anything against anyone who chooses to wear a helmet either. I said something like... your brain is just like a loose bag of snot anyway... helmet or no helmet... you crash hard enough and bump your head... you are either going to die or be wearing diapers the rest of your life & sucking your thumb! Motorcycles aren't for everybody! Let the rider decide!

Poster didn't like that... gave me shit for it. Takes helmet wearing issue & everything else way to serious! Other people read this stuff that had things happen in their life... and blah, blah, blah...
Yea.. I get that. But ya know what? This story wasn't about any certain individual! If it was... that would be different! Lighten up and quit taking everything so damn serious! It must suck living every minute of your day with no sense of humou whatsoever.

So I asked... "don't know sarcasm when you see it? Lighten up a bit... sheesh!"

So I asked... "What's a matter... did ya bump your head when you were young falling off the short bus? Maybe you should have been wearing your helmet!" LOL
(now that was funny... and on topic about wearing helmets too!)

Next thing I know... all of my comments were gone! - abuse of terms of service again! I didn't think I really said anything too out of line... except maybe the short bus comment. No sense of humour over there whatsoever! Sheesh!

The nanny state loves to tell peopel what they will do. You will wear your helmet, you will wear your seatbelt, your kids will be in car seats until they are 30 ............. and so on. I'm surprised any of us survived to be adults! I do wear my seatbelt and the kdis are in booster seats but it should be my choice. I remember riding on the center armrest of our car when I was a kid. And standing up in the back of the truck going down the road. And my family used bacon grease to season stuff.

Speedy we wouldn't want you to change. The sheep will follow the government no matter what. The seat belt law is for one thing to get your money in fines.

Our neighbors over at the forum, just don't get it. They are blind sheeple who need the government to tell them what to think, what to say and what to do. They can't make a move on their own. The next thing the government will make a law that you can't fart in your own back yard without changing you a carbon tax fine.

Time to go over to the other side and stir the pot some more... is what I do best!

LOL, Went over to the sheep barn and was reading about the fair and it's cost. Seem like the fair board might have just ran the fair into the ground. Just like Roscoe Village or should I say Death Valley. Both out priced themselves right into to ground. It's a shame. It seem what ever this town touches turns to shit.

The commercial buildings use to be overflowing with businesses and organizations but the last few years there have been more empty spaces. Someone got that right. (I also notice the crowds are not as big) Was wondering what they charge for those spaces? Or are they free?

(I liked going to Canal Days when it was around the Court House, but after they moved it all over to Roscoe I never went again. )


And the rides are always the same outdated ones.

It's a real shame for the boosters, and the kids working at them. I bet their sales will be down. I remember my Dad and I working at one when I was in band. We both had a great time. I'm sure I'm bow down to the board and pay there 8.00 to get in, but it will only be for one day this year. It seems to me years ago seniors could get in free on Monday's, is this right? I wonder if they given have a senior day anymore, and if they do, anyone know how much it will be? And how much for one of those punch passes?

You would think with all the jobs leaving town they would give the people a break until things get better and cut the cost for this year. but oh no. No bailout for the people of Coshocton and their family to enjoy the fair. Even if they just let people get in free on Friday for just this year would have been a nice gusture for the hurting people of Coshocton. Or even have a buy one get one ticket day on Monday or Tuesday. Would show they care about the people. I think if they had done something like that people would not be so upset over the price, if they knew the board was trying to help out in these bad times.

I see your points with the helmet and agree and respect it. I don't have a motorcycle, I would like to have one. If I did I would probaby wear a helmet.


I have read your post many times, and I never take offense to any thing you or any one says, unless I know for a fact they are an asshole an are strictly being a dick.

I kinda already guessed why your post were deleted, but thought it best to ask you directly. I've always thought many are too sensitive on many forums. I believe "one" must be oneself 100% of the time, I am honestly exactly in real life as I am on forums, as I believe you are. To me, that's the only way to be.........you either like me or you don't .........I don't really care.

Sometimes my own family don't know how to take me, or some of the things I say, or do.......lol. I can be unpredictable at times, sometimes in a good way, other times ....not so good......lol. When we go out to eat or grocery shopping, I better be in a good mood, or somebody is gonna be pissed somewhere , before the night is over........



as for the fair...........yea $8.00 freaking dollars is retarded...... I only like the tractor pulls, but the rest of my family can't stand to go with me to them. They say I am too competitive, even when I am just a spectator. I worked on a buddies pulling tractor for several years, he is more competitive than I am. When we would go it was 100% about winning, 100% of the time. We would spend all week working on it( til weeeeeeeee hours in the morning, drive 2-3 hours hook to the sled maybe 2 times, load up drive home, if we won we got maybe $150.00. I understand now, that was the wrong approach.(for many reasons) Don't get me wrong it was a rush, and not to brag but we did pretty damn good too....The one tractor he had the only time we finished worse than second was the first time out with the tractor. The clutch slipped, and we still finished fourth( out of about 15 tractors).We worked during the week, fixed the clutch issue, went out the next weekend and got a first and a second. I miss it badly, but now I am into drag racing.

$8.00 to get in to a freakshow? But I can go to Walmart and play Walmart Bingo for free. I need to see if "scuzzy carny" is anywhere on the Bingo card. Maybe if I squint ..... We have too much going on to waste time at the fair this year anyway. Lots to do before winter sets in on us.
